Journey to Czech Republic [5]

Friday 22th

souffleur de verre

Visit of the glass-making factory where the glasses are hand-made.

The Czech students have organised a farewell drink.

They invite us to taste typical cakes.

Monday 25th

prague

We spend the last two days in Prague .This town is really charming. Here is the famous Charles bridge crossing the Vltava.

cathédrale

This gothic cathedral , called St Guy, is so big that St Paul ’s cathedral in London could be put inside. Gothic style is unusual in Czech republic. Most of the churches are in baroque style.

rue

In the old town center, which is quite large, barouches take tourists around.

What has impressed me the most during this wonderful journey is the kindness of Czech people . They are really nice . Every time we met someone ( even in the street ) they were kind and helpful .
We had the opportunity of meeting many people . For instance every day at lunch time two different teachers came to eat with us .
Moreover this country is very beautiful : the mountains make me think of « the Vosges » in France and all these colourful old buildings are lovely .
Being in Prague is like a dream . Every thing is beautiful everywhere .
At last , I would say that I was surprised to hear how good is the English of the French students of European section . Now , they can go all over the world to meet people .
